Courbet Middle School, La Tour-De-Peilz - New Construction

Construction of a new middle school on an existing site (replacing the old Courbet Middle School, which is too dilapidated to be renovated).

The ground floor of Courbet Middle School houses a variety of school and community-based facilities, including a triple-purpose gym, the “L’ABCDé” library and game room, a arts and crafts room, dining halls, and an auditorium.
The upper floor is reserved for the school, with 18 classrooms, 6 break rooms, a teachers’ lounge, and a courtyard-terrace in the center

All of these facilities will be accessible to people with disabilities. A 370-kW solar array is installed on its flat roof and also supplies the other middle schools with locally generated electricity. Heating is provided by the heating network of the Collège des Mousquetaires.
