Post-Administration of North Macedonia - Skopje - Brutalist Architecture
During a visit to Skopje, we documented one of North Macedonia’s most iconic Brutalist complexes: the central post office building, known for its monumental raw concrete architecture and unique sculptural forms.
Through this photographic series, the aim was to highlight the building’s bold lines, its organic forms, its weathered textures, and the constant interplay between light, material, and geometry. Captured with a telephoto lens and in wide shots, the images reveal the full visual power of this architecture, which draws inspiration from the Brutalist movement of the 1970s.
Blending dystopian aesthetics, modernist heritage, and urban poetry, this series takes a documentary approach focused on architecture, forgotten structures, and places with a strong visual identity.
